Practical information
Choosing an image format
Different image formats are suited to different jobs. JPEG is common for photographs, PNG is useful for transparency and sharp graphics, and WebP can provide efficient web delivery in supported environments.
Check transparency, quality and compatibility before choosing the output format. Converting formats can change file size and image characteristics, so keep the original for future editing.
Before you rely on the result
Use the displayed result as a useful starting point, then check the assumptions that matter for your situation. Keep units, dates, rates and rounding consistent, and save the original information when you are working with a document or financial estimate.

Choosing an image format
Image formats make different trade-offs between compression, transparency, compatibility and quality. JPEG is well suited to photographs, PNG is useful for lossless graphics and transparency, and WebP is designed for efficient modern web delivery.
Conversion does not create missing detail
Changing a PNG to JPEG cannot restore or preserve transparency because JPEG does not support it. Converting a heavily compressed JPEG to another format also cannot recover the detail already discarded. Keep the original source file whenever future editing may be required.
Use the destination requirements
Choose a format based on where the image will be used. Check whether the destination accepts WebP or requires JPEG/PNG, and consider transparency requirements before converting. The converter handles the format change; you should still check the final image and file size.

Questions to ask before using the Convert Image result
What is the purpose of the number? A result can be mathematically correct while still being unsuitable for the decision you are making. Before copying the result into a report, form or message, identify whether you need an estimate, a rounded everyday value or a value that must follow a particular technical, financial or regulatory rule.
Are the inputs consistent? Keep units, dates, rates and reference values aligned. If information comes from different sources, check that the sources use the same definitions. Pay attention to labels that look similar but are not interchangeable, such as gross and net amounts, mass and force, elapsed days and inclusive dates, or decimal and binary storage units.
Can someone reproduce the calculation? When a result matters, keep the original inputs and the assumptions used. This makes it easier to find an error, explain a difference or update the result later. UniConvertHub is intended to make the calculation visible and repeatable rather than hide the steps behind a single unexplained number.
